About Us

Tucker was born in 2005 with Down Syndrome and a heart defect called Hypo-plastic left heart(half a heart/left side not working). He has undergone two heart surgeries, one when he was just 17 days old. His parents have found a surgeon in Boston that can repair his heart and give him the hope of a very active life. This site has been put into play to help that family get to Boston, to offset cost for travel, room and food while they are there. The surgery is schedule for April 13, 2009. Thank you for helping us with our JOURNEY TO A WHOLE HEART.

Every time I close my eyes
I say a little prayer.
Doctors’, nurses with my son
Please take great care,
For as you see his little heart
Is in need of grave repair.
Bless my son to have the strength,
This battle he will win.
For as he fights for his life,
We are on our knees again.
This son of ours, our miracle,
Has gone through so much.
He is our gift from above,
Our lives he has touched.
Every time I close my eyes
I say a little prayer.
Thank you God for this boy,
A son all our own.
And oh how grateful we are now,
To see how he has grown.
